Walking for our daughter Rosie

Kathryn Jarman is raising money for Dreams & Wishes in memory of her beautiful daughter Rosie, raising funds to put #SmilesOnFaces of seriously ill children and their families.

Having completed running the Chepstow 10K at the beginning of the year, Kathryn's next challenge is now set. Over a series of consecutive weekends in the summer she will be walking the Beacon Way. This route covers 99 miles across the Brecon Beacons from Abergavenny to Llangadog, with an elevation of 6143 metres.

Kathyrn says: "It will be a particularly poignant challenge as not only was Rosie born in Abergavenny, she loved walking in the Brecon Beacons. Part of the route itself will cover some of the same route Rosie walked during her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expedition before she became unwell. We hope to bring special guests along the way to share our love for the Mountains, as in the namesake of Rosie's book, A Mountain In My Heart."
