Tony Curtis, chairman of Dreams and Wishes, expressed his heartfelt thanks on behalf of everyone at the charity.
“Jayne and her family have been incredible supporters of Dreams and Wishes for many years,” said Tony. “Their kindness goes far beyond financial donations. They take a genuine interest in the children and families we help, and they are always ready to step in whenever we need support. Providing supercars for funerals is just one example of the extraordinary compassion they show. We simply cannot thank them enough.”
The latest donation will go directly towards granting special wishes for children who are living with serious and life-limiting illnesses. These wishes — from dream holidays and once-in-a-lifetime experiences to specially adapted equipment — offer joy, hope and precious memories for families facing unimaginable challenges.
In recognition of the Lewis family’s continued commitment, the charity has announced that its lodge at the Dylan Coastal Resort will be named in honour of the Jayne’s grandson, Jesse. The lodge, which is owned by Dreams and Wishes, provides families with a peaceful retreat where they can spend quality time together away from hospital appointments and treatment schedule.
Tony added: “Naming the lodge after Jesse is a small token of our gratitude for everything Jayne and her family have done. Their generosity will continue to make a difference to so many children’s lives for years to come.”
For Jayne, supporting Dreams and Wishes has always been about helping families create special memories when they matter most. Her latest contribution ensures that many more children will have the chance to experience moments of happiness, comfort and escape — a lasting legacy of kindness within the community.
As well as Dreams and Wishes, Jayne and her family have donated more than £1m in total to Dreams and Wishes, St David's Hospital in Newport, Trinity Fields School in Ystrad Mynach and Serennu Children's Centre in Newport.
