About Us

What We Do

Dreams & Wishes is a charity dedicated to helping seriously ill children by making their dreams and wishes come true. Since we began in 2011, we have been working with families across the UK, providing vital support throughout the child’s illness as well as helping to build happy memories by granting lifelong wishes.

Battling a life-threatening illness is heart-breaking for both a child and their support network and can often mean countless hospital stays, painful treatments and a loss of a ‘childhood’, something which most children take for granted.

Dreams & Wishes provide support for children and their families as well as ensuring that families are still able to make wonderful and long-lasting memories.

We understand that every child is unique with their own dreams and wishes, so it is our aim to make sure that every child we work with is able to fulfil their dream. Some children want to meet their favourite TV stars, fly in a helicopter, visit Legoland or to just have their own playhouse. No matter how big or small a child’s dream is, we are committed to making sure it comes true.

Marc Eckley

CEO, Full Circle Facilities Management

I am proud to be an ambassador of Dreams and Wishes; having completed numerous projects. I’ve seen first-hand the difference Dreams and Wishes makes to seriously ill children and their families lives.  To see the smiles on children’s faces when a dream becomes reality is the most satisfying emotion, making me committed and extremely proud of those involved.

In October 2013 I led a team of 9 to the top of Kilimanjaro, one of those being a man named John Harris, a 68 year old Paraplegic. I mention this due to my belief that “all of our dreams can come true if we have the courage to peruse them”.

Watch this space for our next challenge with the aim to grant many more wishes.
